Forged in the melting pot of New York City, Bellehouse wields passionate Americana soaked in Classic Rock and Celtic lore. The 6-piece band has a joyful communal energy onstage with vibrant performers who lose themselves in storytelling, carrying the audience along every step of the way. Fronted by Sarah Elizabeth Haines (viola, voice), Jess T. Clinton (guitar, voice) and Mackenzie Shivers (keys, voice), the three sirenlike songwriters weave parallel tales from seasons of personal change and wonderment of the natural world. Ryan Gross (banjo, voice), Yuka Tadano (bass), and Cody Rahn (percussion) bring sweet acoustic nuance and unshakeable rhythmic fortitude, vitalizing the color and detail of the lyrical imagery even further. It’s clear that Bellehouse is a band of dedicated friends with remarkable chemistry, giving the band a force even greater than the sum of its parts.
"SOME OF TODAY'S BEST FOLK/AMERICANA."
“BELLEHOUSE…WIELDS THE CONFIDENCE AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE OF A MUCH BIGGER BAND, SURELY A SIGN OF THINGS TO COME… SIMPLY PUT, BELLEHOUSE IS A JOY TO LISTEN TO.”

"BELLEHOUSE IS WELL ON THE WAY TO BEING THE NEW FACE OF FOLK IN AMERICA."
